Local-first labels
Your labels, row highlights and related choices are stored in Chrome local storage on your device. Tagvella has no developer backend for chat storage.

Privacy by design
Tagvella reads the minimum ChatGPT data needed for its visible features. Chat metadata is used for dates and grouping. Full conversation content is read when you explicitly export a chat for AI handoff. Authentication data may be used transiently in memory only for same-origin ChatGPT requests and is not stored by Tagvella or sent to the developer.
Website analytics, when enabled, is loaded only after consent and is separate from extension data.
What Tagvella does not do
No developer chat database
Tagvella does not upload your conversations or labels to a server operated by the developer.
